On Friday, April 24th took place in a concomitant way the meeting of the departmental assembly in the morning in the general Council of Is re and that of advice of Underground in the evening. It occasioned the elected representatives UMP to be in top on the problems of the accommodation in our department.

As reminded of him MICHEL SAVIN in his intervention, since 2003, the price of the land and the price of the building suffered important increases, what accentuates the difficulty in producing accommodation of. For some months, financial, economic and today social crisis make us bring concrete answers to a number more and more mattering from families in search of an accommodation adapted to their resources.

Our group also reminded that on commitments taken by the departmental assembly in 2003, no answer had been brought. Nothing as regards the accompaniment of PLH set up by intercommunalit s, support of villages for rockings of operations, urban renewal and notably operations of demolitions. Nothing also on jobs of viabilisations and of cleanups of plots intended to accept operations of social accommodation. No cooperation with groups on the policy of assistant to the building of accommodation that it is for the assistant to stone or assistant on the land.

In this difficult period, it is important to make choices and to establish priorities. The accommodation, the UMP group repeated it, one of these priorities is that also comes in support of the revival of economy, building being an important source of jobs.

The pragmatism of UMP facing the ideology of the left

On Friday a session in Underground was held during which recalled the new policy of assistant to the accommodation. While initial plan was strongly tinted id ologiquement, the job in committee of our elected representatives paid.

As part of the examination of deliberation in question, all requests of amendments introduced by the group of opposition Underground Alternatives were taken back. So, the Underground group Alternatives wished that Underground continues and even accentuates its assistant in favour of the social accession to property, in accordance with the will of the President of the Republic. The elected representatives UMP also insisted so that or admitted the importance of land master key, so that a place is granted in the support of the accommodation of type PLS and so that the particular situation of the villages of less than 3500 inhabitants or taken into account.

Facing the ideology of the left, our group could show pragmatism by proposals taking into account the reality of the ground and in stage with our conviction.
